Lima, City of Kings: 2 Nights
Take two days to explore Lima, the capital of Peru and a city steeped in history, for two days and two nights. Discover the city’s colonial history with a tour downtown; the country’s pre-Hispanic history with a visit to the magnificent Larco Museum, founded by Rafael Larco Hoyle in 1926. Lima is considered the gastronomic capital of South America, and you will have plenty of opportunities to discover Peru’s culinary masterpieces.
Sacred Valley of the Incas & Machu Picchu: 2 Nights
An early flight to Cusco will allow you to get right into the business of exploring the majestic Sacred Valley. Discover the archaeological remains of Pisac and Ollantaytambo and explore the streets of this charming area. Cusco City: 2 Nights
On your way from the heart Sacred Valley to Cusco city you will stop by the quaint town of Chinchero, which was one of the most important villages during the Inca Empire, plus a visit to the Maras salt deposits and Moray agricultural terraces. On day two of your stay in Cusco, you will visit, among other sites, the baroque-style Cathedral, the important Inca Coricancha temple and then head to the hills above Cusco to visit the remains of the fortress of Sacsayhuaman.
Welcome to Guayaquil: 2 Nights
Fly from Cusco to Guayaquil for the second half of this extraordinary trip. Take the day off on your first day in Ecuador before embarking on a tour of the city on the second day. Visit Las Peñas, the city’s oldest district, and after walking its colorful streets you’ll be guided up 444 steps to the summit of Cerro Santa Ana for panoramic vistas of the city. Also visit the Parque Historico, a refuge of life, history and natural wealth of the region.
Galapagos Adventure: 5 Extraordinary Nights
Fly to the Galapagos and head to the first of many islands: Lobos Island, where you can walk its sandy beach and swim and snorkel among the seals, frigates, marine iguanas, lava lizards, and the small endemic Galapagos snake.
You will live this Galapagos adventure over five days aboard catamarans, that will transport you to these fascinating islands: Santa Fe, South Plazas, North Seymour, Mosquera Islet, Darwin Bay and Barranco.
